Experience Frankfurt’s local transport history month by month
Who’s already thinking about the new year? We are! The calendar for 2025 of the Historische Straßenbahn der Stadt Frankfurt am Main e.V.(HSF) can now be purchased for 12 euros in the museum store.
The 14 motifs combine the style of the VGF ‘s historic fleet, which has been preserved in running order, with technical and contemporary details. The February calendar page, for example, shows a vehicle on special line 20 on its way to the city’s Corona vaccination center, while November’s image shows an R railcar running in the C tunnel. Another unique motif is a U2 car stopping at the Festhalle/Messe next to a graffiti mural by a Canadian artist.
The first day of sales will be next Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the HSF stand on Willy-Brandt-Platz on the occasion of this year’s Frankfurt European Tram Championships. Just one week later, the museum store will open on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the HSF clubhouse (Eckenheim depot).
