The Transport Museum, i.e. the West Hall in Frankfurt-Schwanheim, must remain closed to regular visitors until the necessary new construction work has been completed. Guided tours and children’s birthday parties are also not possible!

Unfortunately, it is not yet clear when the demolition and new construction work will begin.

Following planning permission, construction could then begin in November 2025 and the Frankfurt Transport Museum in Schwanheim is expected to reopen in summer 2027.
