The Frankfurt am Main Transport Museum, i.e. the West Hall in Schwanheim, will remain closed until further notice due to new construction work!
The Transport Museum, i.e. the West Hall in Frankfurt-Schwanheim, must remain closed to regular visitors until the necessary new construction work has been completed. Guided tours and children's birthday parties are also not possible!
Unfortunately, it is not yet clear when the demolition and new construction work will begin.
Following planning permission, construction could then begin in July 2026 and the Frankfurt am Main Transport Museum in Schwanheim is expected to be completed in December 2027.
