Calendar 2026 now available!

Frankfurt public transport yesterday, today and tomorrow

From working vehicles and curious detour on the light rail system to the Easter Bunny Express: the wall calendar of the "Historische Straßenbahn der Stadt Frankfurt am Main" (HSF) association highlights the most diverse facets of local transport history in the metropolis on the Main. The calendar can now be purchased for 12 euros in the museum store.

The 14 motifs depict all of the operational series of the light rail system and almost all of the streetcars. The backgrounds of the pictures also bear witness to the changing times: while a modern T-car (built in 2023) is on the new line to Preungesheim, which opened in 2011, the former route of line 12 to Bergen can only be used by an O305 (built in 1979). Special routes such as the detour of the U4 on the C line last fall are also not to be missed.

The first day of sales will be next weekend at the Eckenheim depot on the occasion of Rail Day. From then on, the calendar can be purchased every third Saturday of the month from 1 to 5 p.m. in the HSF clubhouse (Eckenheim depot), further opening days for events can be found here.

We would like to thank all contributors.
